Greetings!

 

It is both an honor and a joy to serve as the 2024-2026 Chapter President of the Three-time Five Star Incomparable Inglewood Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. In 1938, under the visionary leadership of Marion Stubbs Thomas, twenty dedicated mothers brought to life a vision that laid the foundation for the Nation’s premiere African American family organization. Now, with 271 chapters nationwide representing over 50,000 families, we remain steadfast in our mission of nurturing future African American leaders by empowering children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.

 

In 1970, twenty remarkable women shared this objective and chartered the Inglewood Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.  As we proudly celebrate our 55th chapter anniversary, we not only honor the legacy of those who came before us but also look forward with passion, purpose, and excellence. We seek for all children the same advantages for which we desire for our own.

 

On behalf of our 54 incredible Mother Members, along with our Father’s Auxiliary, Associates, Teens, and Children, I warmly welcome you to explore “who we are” and “what we do”. The Incomparable Inglewood Chapter is rooted in the strength of our members, built on an unwavering commitment to the betterment of our children through exceptional programming, and driven by the pursuit of excellence in upholding the mission of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Together, we stand united under the powerful 2024-2026 National Administrative Theme: THE POWER OF US – Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.
